Google DevFest: Oct. 31st, 13:00-22:00. CODING WORKSHOP FOR PROGRAMMERS!
IMPORTANT
This is a training for PROGRAMMERS. It’s not a technology overview, it’s a HANDS ON PROGRAMMING WORKSHOP.
Attendees will need to bring a their own laptop to use to try example code.
Please, if you are not a programmer, do not register and take away a seat from people that are programmers and can gain valuable knowledge and experience from this event.
Event Overview
Google and Barcamp Bangkok are pleased to announce the first ever Google DevFest to he held in Bangkok! Google is flying in 4 engineers from Silicon Valley for a one-day programmer training event.
WOW!
What: Google will be holding a DevFest in Bangkok. Join us for a day of coding and fun, where we’ll cover topics ranging from OpenSocial & App Engine to YouTube & the Google Maps API.
Who: You! We’ll provide space, power, and refreshments. You just need to bring your own laptop, ideas and enthusiasm to complete the mix.

Sound like a scam, right? Let’s say that I believe that and visit the slideshare link. Whoa! It’s look even more suspicious!
In conclusion, There’re even scams that aim at us developers. They even know that I’m a Django Developer (Even though they don’t know that I’m just a beginner) in Thailand. Even my name!
Scary…
